All Medicare Part B Physicians Will Report Through MIPS in 2017

CMS reports that 95% of ACOs are considered Track 1 ACOs. For the 2017 reporting year, Track 1 ACOs are ineligible to qualify to be a Advanced Alternative Payment Model (APM). This means they must report through MIPS and be able to successfully:

  • Monitor quality data and benchmarks across the health system

  • Utilize and report on the use of technology as a means to advance care and improve provider communication

  • Maximize the CPS score above 70 to be eligible for a 10% bonus incentive
